Customer Reviews
Have been fighting almost a month to get insurance cancelled, they are still taking money out of paychecks. I have a new and better plan than what is offered through Heartland/Union/Work. I should be able to easily cancel this insurance without counting on someone to read an emailed form and do it for me. Ridiculous.
Caller representative was very rude and condescending. She was borderline calling me a liar when I was standing with my work supervisor who verified that we enrolled and submitted for my benefits. He helped me in November when I asked him to help me to make sure that everything I was doing was right. He acted as my witness by telling the representative that he helped me to enroll and was verifying my claims. Instead of trying to figure something out she continued to say "no, you never enrolled", and then tried asking me a lot of questions to confuse me and accuse me of contradicting myself. Everything I said was valid. She then asked me why I didn't make phone calls when she saw in my records that I emailed them in November. These emails were after I enrolled through the help with my super
Website is difficult to work with. It’s a pain to get into the website. You have to wait a life time for them to send the access code to either text or email. Happens to me every time. Still waiting……..
I originally gave Heartland a 5 star but that was before I was promoted and have been trying to get them to cancel my health insurance now that I get my insurance thru a different company with being a manager instead of union. It felt like they don't want to cancel it because they just want the money. I have been going round and round with this company for months now and still having no luck. So I went above them and went to my main office and told them what was going on and finally got somewhere, when my higher uos stepped in. It should not have come to this, really.
Very disappointed that my company still uses this insurance. Took me 4 months to get 1 paycheck from my medical leave. Does not answer any phone calls nor calls back, especially during enrollment time when calls are time sensitive. Does not respond to emails.
