Hans Norland & Sons Insurance

I can't tell if these people are crooks or just retarded. We bought house insurance through them, or so we had thought. Our mortgage was taken over by another bank through a merger/buyout and we were contacted by the new bank telling us that they did not have anything saying that our house had insurance on it (although this was necessary to buy the house in the first place). It took us a while to figure out that Hans Norland had cashed our check, but never actually went through the trouble of putting us on an insurance plan. We started talking with Midland Empire through a family recommendation (which we should have gone with from the start) and they handled us very well and took care of getting our money back from Hans Norland and getting us on a reasonable insurance plan for our home.
