Greg Smith: Allstate Insurance

Well, after being with the agency for many, many, many years an autopay on our car insurance policies was missed during the time I was receiving treatment for cancer. I did not receive any phone calls or emails and the policy was terminated. I actually did not find out about the policy being terminated until I received a text message from a collection agency. Not only would they not accept payment and reinstate the auto policy, but our home owner's insurance nearly doubled as a result. (it went from $2800 a year to $4400) You're not in good hands with Allstate, you're just a number and they dont give a damn.

Overall I am just disappointed and frustrated with my interactions with Greg Smith's team. I have been with this agency for 3 years and have been let down each time I engage them. First they keep getting the details about my house incorrect and dozens of attempts to update the file go unanswered or with unfulfilled promises to make those corrections. Second, my spouse's car was hit by another car in a minor fender bender and just was asking for advice on what process to go thru since the other person was at fault. The agent did not return any calls or answer the phone. Third I wanted to use my car roadside assistance for a jumpstart (covered under my policy) but the wait time for a truck in town was 2:46 minutes - I ended up calling a truck myself and they arrived within 30 minutes so why

David was great. He gave me great advice since I am a first time home buyer and needed to insure my home and auto! Quick, fair rates and friendly service. 10/10 would recommend.

Had allstate for over 25 years no claims called because premiums we're to high they stated there was nothing they could do switched insurance companies saved over 700.00 dollars.

After 11 years the company change the agent and the new people don't have en of knowledge and plus is so rude that is why I cancel my póliza of insurance
