Unfortunately, The agent at Gottzmann & Associates who helped me insure our condo did not ask me for a wind mitigation report, a fire alarm certificate, or any other docs that would save me hundreds. I had my policy with them for 5 years, until my neighbor, who was paying much less than me, referred me to their agent, who quoted me around $700 less per year ($1685 vs $980) . When told the manager at Gottzmann & Associates how no one bothered to review my account for 5 years, she told me that they have hundreds of customers and that they can't look at all the policies.
