Globe Life of New York

NEVER USE GLOBE LIFE. I have a policy with one son for 35 years, my other son for 25 years. I applied 6 months ago for a policy for myself as my 10 yr one was expring. I did all this before my birthday, where the rates go up. After months of calling and applying in writing, thats how NY does it, they can't find my application and offer no help or responsibility. Now I have to seek a policy and pay more because its after my birthday!! This is the Syracuse, NY office, and the boss in Texas offered no help except to start over from scratch, and pay the higher rate!!!! GLOBE SUCKS!!!

I love in Colorado, and the customer service visa phone is terrible. Once I've been approved for short term disability and the cut of fate comes up it takes another 3-4 weeks for an extended approval. Very unprofessional, when told I'd get a follow up call it never happens. I leave message after message and never get a return call. I'm glad they're agents are getting paid while customers are left struggling.

Horrible customer service from their very own VP? I didn't know who it was who answered my call for the Account Manager I was calling because he never gave his name. He was so rude I actually asked if I was bothering him? He said they were very busy and he didn't have time but would answer my questions one more time. Wow! I don't care who he is, he needs to find another role. One where he doesn't interface with people.

My mom just informed me that Globe Life in Syracuse had dropped her policy from $15,000.00 to $10,000.00 without her consent. Having life insurance for over 20years to help pay for burial expenses just to have the it decrease without notifications. She was advised it’s in the policy and they have every right to do this! She’s been a loyal customer and this is a company taking advantage of people! I will be assisting her in seeking counsel on this matter! People check on your policies! Shoppers of life insurance beware!

Worst insurance company ever, told me when I turn 80 my policy is terminated but they did not tell me until I turned 81, To God be the glory I am still here, but if I had of passed after 80 they would not have paid out, but they took my money for the extra year. To whom much is given much is required First United American Life Ins co. Shame Shame on you robbing the eldery, beware . Thing that got me though is when I called they left me on hold for over an hour, no one never came back to answer my question. This is defintely not over.
