Working with Genworth Financial was a easy experience finding my new Homeowners insurance. They made everything easy and fast. Very professional and knowledgeable about his craft. I would recommend them to friends and family. Representative was very attentive and knew what Farmers could offer vs what they could. We were feeling a bit neglected from Farmers and the 30% rate hike wasn't helping any! They provides a competitive product and a reasonable price. Visiting the Genworth Financial office was always a pleasant experience. The friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff made discussions about insurance much more comfortable. It’s not often you find a service provider that makes you feel right at home.

When our loved one passed away, Genworth was the and is the only company we have had issues with. They wanted us to take ownership of policies we did not know anything about and would not give us any information about the policies until we were the owners. They wanted us to pay for something without any knowledge of it. They would just loop our calls or transfer us. Our attorney even sent them a letter to disclose information and they ignored it. Honestly, there are so many other wonderful companies out there we worked with that I would choose over Genworth. You don’t won’t your loved ones going through what we went through when other companies are just better

Dealing with Genworth to get my mother reimbursed for her in-home health care was an absolute nightmare. One person would tell me to do one thing, and then I'd do it, and then another person told me I did it all wrong. The goalposts were always moving and no matter what I did it was never good enough. The end result was that I spent what turned out to be my mother's last 6 months of life jumping through useless hoops and chasing down money that she was entitled to receive by contract.
