Fountain Parker Harbarger & Associates - Insurance

We got a policy with them starting in 2022 for what we were told was full home coverage--this year in 2024, when we were asked if we'd like to renew, we discovered that it had been a policy JUST FOR EXTERNAL FIRE DAMAGE the whole time. On top of that, when we did not immediately respond to the email asking if we'd renew, the company went on ahead and charged us 300$ ANYWAY despite not having the authorization--when we called in to try getting that dealt with, we were told by Connie that the refund would be given within the week, and that the error had come from their end, as they'd given our bank details to the agency our policy was through for some reason. I was with Byars Wright before, and they gave me a bad taste for service. I was blown away by Carters superb service and pristine work to details. He earned my trust by showing his loyalty to service and my best interest. I also have an extensive coverage for our business and some of it can be confusing. Carter took his time to explain things to me in easy laymans terms so that I could understand, which I have learned from a few agents prior is a rare trait to find in an insurance agent. When I was younger, I always assumed it would be cheaper to get insurance directly through a carrier instead of the expected extra costs of a middle man. Oh how wrong I was. FPH routinely gets me drastically lower premiums than the carriers quote me directly. The insurance provider they got me has been nothing but responsive and helpful for the two claims I've had in the last four years. And most importantly, I have a great relationship with my account managers, so whenever I need something I just pick up the phone and stuff magically happens.
