Florida Blue Center - Kendall

It's like a scam. I bought my plan which covered the circumcision and routine daily care for my newborn. My husband even called Florida Blue twice to confirm it on my due date. The final bill showed that I have to pay circumcision and routine daily care for around $5000. I called Florida Blue several times and also had conference call with the Baptist Hospital on 88th Street. Every single time, Florida Blue agents assured me that it can be reprocessed since my plan covers it and I don't have to pay for it out of my pocket. But I still have to pay in the end. They used fancy words and plan coverage to attract you, but they don't pay bills when they should.

Juan Betancourt is the best Florida Blue agent I have ever dealt with. I highly recommend him if you're looking for someone who knows what they're talking about. He's extremely helpful and informative.

I came this morning with my hysband to Sanitas and I stop by to see Juan Betancourt, he always have an excellent custoner service. He was very helpful, he is very knowledge about all the plans that Florida blue has and he recommend the best plan for me. I just got off of the phone with a guy that knows the true meaning of custom service.. Super helpful and most important he listen. I just in rolled in Florida blue and I had questions regarding Dr's, and all I can say is WOW !! He answered my questions and more.. This young man name is Juan Betancourt. I want to Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking your time with me.

Had such a bad experience with this company. I called in the beginning of the year to cancel my coverage because I had a new insurance for the year, the customer service agent assured me everything was cleared. The next month start seeing that they’re still charging me and call them, turns out they have a policy, which the customer service agent didn’t mention, that if I don’t specifically mention “dental” they will not cancel it. I called to cancel ALL COVERAGE, the customer service agent assumed it was just health insurance. Asked for a refund due to this misunderstanding and was transferred to different representatives all which denied refund, one of which even admitted agent was at fault. Some of the representatives were not very professional, or helpful.
