I wanted to put this out there as a heads-up for anyone shopping for insurance: steer clear of Allstate if you actually expect a timely claims resolution. To be clear, THIS IS NOT ABOUT FATIMA. They’ve been fine, but the corporate side of the house is a complete disaster. Back in October, my brand-new car was rear-ended here in Virginia by a GEICO-insured driver. Even though the damage was under $15k and the car is worth nearly $30k, GEICO tried to total it because it hit their $25k policy limit. These people tried to illegally cancel my policy so they could get a new policy commission with another company. Insurance fraud. Fatima and Zahir were part of it. I asked to switch agents 2 years ago and they kept hanging up on me saying they were not helping me anymore except through email. Horrible insurance agency who likes to scam their customers.
