Tanner has been great to work with. The rate is competitive and communication is quick and straightforward. The low rating has more to do with Farmers in general. I have seen news reports of them accusing homeowners of causing damage on purpose with no evidence to avoid providing coverage. This just happened to my neighbor as well. We both had roof damage from a wind storm and watched a roofer document evidence. They claimed that the roofer damaged the roof, but we both know that wasn't true. We are considering other options, but a lot of companies charge 50-100% more.
