Farmers Insurance - Erin Kirk

I switched from another insurance group to farmers with Erin, I would not suggest that to anyone! I had so many things go wrong from, Erin not contacting my banks where my auto loans were to tell them she was my agent, to now having a collection agency saying I have an outstanding balance because Erin couldn’t get my monthly payments entered correctly too whatever agency it is that pulls it from my account!? And every time I went to her office to get things cleared up she was always on vacation or just not in the office. Her staff was awesome but that’s about it!

I have been insured with Farmers Insurance (Home & Auto) for several years and have recently moved into NM from out-of-state. Erin Kirk and her office staff have been wonderful about getting coverages changed, preserving my "history" with Farmers, resolving the inevitable problems when making transfers. They have always been responsive and easy to work with. I recommend them for your insurance needs.

Seek insurance elsewhere! I’ve been a loyal customer for about two years with not one missed payment or issue. Unfortunately, their rates have gone up significantly over the years and is no longer something I can incorporate into my budget. In the past year (2 renewal cycles), I have inquired with several different agents (including the owner) about possibly bundling more policies for the best deal. Both renewal times, all of my information was taken by an employee and I was told “give me 15 minutes and I’ll get back to you”. I believe I got a call back from Erin at some point who basically told me the same thing. Other than that, no other agents nor the owner contacted me again. In then end, I was never signed up for any other policies or discounts and my policy was automatically renewed.

I would give 0 stars if possible. I have been trying to get my auto and renters insurance straightened out for months. I was overcharged for my auto insurance and my renters insurance was canceled due to non payment. I have absolutely no idea what this agent did, but I now have a big mess to try and clean up.

We have been with Erin Kirk/Farmers for several Years now and have really enjoyed working with her. She is always available when we need her, and is constantly looking for ways to save us money on our rates.
