Farmers Insurance - Eric Calkins

I've been with Farmer's for about 5 years now but moved to Michigan almost a year ago. Since it's a different state with different rules, I of course had to change my insurance over, which meant finding a local agent which is Eric. He was very helpful in explaining how Michigan auto insurance works, getting a good package together that works for me. He's also been helpful otherwise. For example I changed my DL from Texas to Michigan after I had bought insurance and I had forgot to send them a copy of my new License. Well they obviously went to run my license recently which would show invalid. They sent me a letter saying that. This agency is Outstanding !! They are in constant contact with me about my Business policies (“Whippi Dip”....had to get the shameless plug in), my auto policies (6) and my families homes (2). Simply put....I call the agency, and within 60 Seconds, one of the Calkins brothers or Tara will say “We got it taken care of”. Oh.....and they’ve saved me ALOT of Money 💰 !!!! The team of agents answered all my questions with detailed answers very fast! They got us a great bundle rate with better coverage than our old insurance and explained the differences in the policies. We recently filed a windshield claim and they got back to me via email within an hour and got all our information to the glass repair company and we got it fixed the next day! Super fast and reliable!

A friend of ours daughter works for Eric & Alex Calkins and their rates were much better than our long term agent. After receiving a quote, I called my former agent with the information and ask him to review my policies and lower the price by over $700. They wouldn’t lower their price so I switched.
