I looked for insurance elsewhere due to extremely high rates and being told "that's the best we can do". I found auto insurance for $700 leass, per MONTH, and promptly switched. Then the nightmare began. This Farmers agency continued to bank draft payments of almost $1k a month while ignoring all of my attempts to cancel (internet request, and multiple unanswered phone calls. Voice mail box full.) I finally called the general Farmers number where I found some helpful people. Even they could not get ahold of Daniel Medina. After Mr Medina was included in all of the cancelation emails, I was finally reached out to by his office via email. Was it about my cancelation? No. He was asking if I wanted to sign up for some home insurance!! Yeah, right. No thanks. Stay clear of this company!!

I have been with Farmers Insurance for over 5 years now, and over time the company has increasingly gotten worse. I used to feel the company touched base with their clients and would be helpful and made you feel comfortable. Over the last two years, they have increased my rates, changed my policy from annual to semi-annual which means they are increasing my rates every 6 months(without, to me, legitimate reason- Company cost increases has nothing to do with my insurance coverage). Above all else, their customer service is poor, they guarantee to give call backs, or speak with your agent (whom you,yourself can rarely get in contact with) in regards to your concerns,yet it never happens.
