Farmers Insurance - Bridget McKevett

Bridget is terrible to work with. She does not return calls or emails, does not communicate when there is an increase or in rates and overall has terrible customer service. I would not recommend Bridget to my worst enemy. You should be ashamed of how you and your team treat people.

After being a long time customer of Farmers from out of state, and when moving my mother and then purchasing a multi unit dwelling in my hometown area of Huntley/Algonquin area, I of course looked for an agent. The purchase of the dwelling came later and I wished to change to more established agent in town that I would have hoped would have the knowledge and hometown feel that I was expecting.. Wow was I wrong. When I first called I was nicely greeted by her office staff who was welcoming and professional. I explained that I wanted to switch to their agency and she mistakenly told me I had to call customer service at Farmers/Foremost. She transferred, where I was told that the agent was the one that had to initiate the transfer. I then called the agent back and got Bridget on speaker phone

We have been with farmers for about 17 years insuring our home and vehicles Bridget is very profesional knowledgeable and efficient. We’ve had had some lows in our life and they have been there for us. Finding us the best rate to accommodate our insurance needs. Was looking for a new insurance company and wanted to get a few estimates. Since I'm local we decided to give this branch a try. When we showed up to the office the front door was locked. This was at around 3pm. We knocked, as they didnt have a doorbell, but no one answered. According to the operating hours they weren't closed for another 3 hours. So I did what every reasonable person would. I called the phone number. A lady answered, not sure who, and asked me how she could help me. I told her that I was looking to get an estimate on car insurance and wanted to schedule and office visit. She ignored my request and asked me for my information. I told her that I did not want to do this over the phone, as im looking for an estimate and don't need hundreds of marketing calls. She again ignore

Bridget has been our agent for many years and has always been extremely helpful and attentive. She made me feel at ease through my accident a few months ago, picking up the phone right away and walking me through the steps and claim process. Overall Bridget is an awesome agent, I would highly reccomend her to anyone!
