I bought my home in Sumter County in 2002. I immediately retained Farm Bureau Insurance for my homeowners policy. I worked with a couple different agents over the years. I found the company to be professional and the staff to be super. Never in 18 years did I have a claim or a problem. Then, my neighbors tree fell on my house. It was a large massive tree. Not one of my trees, my neighbors tree. I had no choice but to file a claim as I could not afford to have the massive tree removed on my own. The roof had slight damage. All told the claim was not a large one. The roof was properly repaired. The adjuster said he had never stood on such a solid roof. Shortly after this episode, during Covid and unemployment..here comes the Farm Bureau agent to let me know I was going to be cancelled. He c
