Farm Bureau Insurance

Awful experience. Used this company for 16 years and will be making changes after the disregard for customer and blatant rudeness. Had 2 claims in 16 years. Zero problems with the one 5 years ago and nothing but problems this time. You're better off shopping elsewhere. Loyalty means nothing to this firm/agent. They also do nothing to review their customers policies and make sure their adequately insured, I guess they believe that's the customer responsibility. Even though they have property details and claim history, they do zero work.He actually said to me, we can't read your mind. I guess they don't believe agents have a job and think they are there just to collect a check. Sad I gave them my business for so long. Live and learn.

This is the most difficult insurance company I have ever worked with. I was a long-time client and had only one minor claim in the twelve years I was with them - a tree fell on my roof during a windstorm in 2010. But when my vehicle was vandalized at my home in late summer of 2020 and numerous items were stolen, including all of my sons fishing and hunting gear, it took a monumental effort to get them to pay the claim, which was less than $1500 after my deductible. They were rude and not at all responsive. The young adjuster with something to prove treated me as I though I were the thief. I kept them informed about where things were with the police and then the courts and they aren't interested in going after the guilty party. Stay away from Bill and his team with Farm Bureau. He changed our policy and jacked up our rates and never said a word. I would shop for insurance somewhere else.

Lady was very rude on phone when I said I was shopping around and I needed a quote she replied okay and hung up phone... I called back got a different lady told her what happened she replied I dont think she hung up.. um yes she did i responded and said I'm looking for quotes on house insurance but if your going to be rude I'll take my money somewhere else , she replied in a very snippy additue.. I said okay well I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Took them a week to tell me they couldn't help me with insurance after I called a million times 😟
