Everest Funeral Concierge

Many reviewers don’t seem to understand how Everest works. They advocate for families at a time when some funeral homes take advantage of people who are grieving. I’m a life insurance agent and personally saw Everest handle my client’s father’s passing— the claim was paid within two days, and my client was extremely happy. I also have an Everest plan myself, as do family members. Having a funeral concierge gives real peace of mind.

Having worked in the financial industry for over 30 years and having a bachelor's degree in finance, I can confidently say that this is top tier organization that provides critical assistance when families are in most need. I wish I had this when my grandparents died because most families are scammed into paying more with upselling sales agents at funeral homes. It's asinine to listen and read the poor reviews from folks on here, they have no experience in the industry or with everest themselves.

Everest Concierge Service harasses and bullies funeral homes into "compliance", they have agents to make numerous phone calls and send threatening letters that amount to nothing more than opinions and veiled threats. Is this a company that you want to represent you and your loved ones when they're grieving and vulnerable? They're making money somehow... funerals are already expensive enough, let the PROFESSIONALS guide you, not Everest.

If I could give no stars, I would. This is a very deceptive company who plays the bait and switch game for financial gain. Please just call your local funeral home and or insurance agent and talk with them. You will find better information and deals just working with your local funeral homes/jnsurance agents and they can provide you a general price list themselves. This company only tries to profit off of every family’s grief and is only in it to make money and not actually help people. They hide behind “selling insurance” and tell funeral homes if they don’t comply with their rules, they are breaking the law so funeral homes are having to unwillingly participate in this scam of a business.

There is no advantage to using a company like this in any way. Call any local funeral home directly or work directly with your insurance agent, this is a company acting as an intermediary to insert themselves in the equation to profit off your family’s grief. You will most assuredly get a better rate from your local funeral home and or insurance company by working directly with them.
