Preemptively covering homeowner's insurance before purchasing a house in the area, I considered a local insurance agency instead of using a national change for our insurance. We also intended to use Douglas B Miles Agency for our auto insurance. Initially, they were nice enough over the phone. We even made a few trips to the office ahead of our closing date to see our options for combined coverage and what coverage we could add to the house. One employee gave us a list of options and let us know when we were ready to close on the house to come back, and we would be all set.
