Don Parsons - State Farm Insurance Agent

IF you are able to get them on the phone, you will receive poor service. But odds are, you will call for 2, 3, 4+ weeks and receive no call backs. You will email 5+ times and receive no replies. Go with a different State Farm Agent- this one is NO GOOD.

Lots of lip service - no follow through. I needed to transfer my renter's insurance to new address-they kept the old policy in force and opened a policy for my mailing address which is a PO box. I was told more than once that I would receive a confirming email for changes made - never happened. Decided it would be in my best interest to go with another carrier - these folks are very good about telling you what you want to hear but the truth of the matter is that they could care less about providing good customer service or accommodating your needs. Perhaps they suffer from "wearetheonlygameintownitis"-but it is unfortunately not to one's advantage to have the local insurance folks carry providing your coverage.

I would be very wary. They deserve 0 stars. This office is almost criminally negligent. Terrible communication and lack of professionalism. I’m wondering how many others they are ignoring and letting down? My dad died 9 months ago. I have been checking on his death claim like clockwork every 2 weeks to the point of being a pest (I am POA for my elderly mother) After having to resubmit his death certificate (first one was lost), dozens of conversations with Dana who claimed she was “working” on it and my mom still paying the monthly premium for his policy, WE JUST FOUND OUT HIS CLAIM WAS NEVER FILED. Corporate is now involved. Neither Don Parsons nor Dana will return calls to me. Not sure what is going on in this office. Thank God my mom is not desperate for a payout and has not been havin

They must be paying for good reviews. I have nothing good to say about this company. They have failed us time and time again. They have lied and ignored us over and over and over again. It's not worth it to save money when they do nothing in return. We will now be encouraging all our friends to have no part in working with this company and we will be seeking services elsewhere.

Called office and had questions on my Home Owners bill. Was told by the receptionist they has many other questions ahead of me didn't know when they would get back to me. I never heard from the office again. I found another agent, and went to the office in Long Beach. I didn't even get into the office. The receptionist came out to my car and I told her I wanedt the office to switch me to another agent. She said she would and I never heard from her aginqa. I was switchedby the new agent. I am a 25 years client of State Fatm and couldn't get any feedback from Don Parson's office.
