I have had State Farm auto and home for 10 years. I had to file my first claim. I asked Ms. Coulter for assistance as she is my agent. I was having a difficult time with the adjuster and the fact that he arbitrarily denied to pay my full mitigation invoice. Other than getting an email from her acknowledging my email, I never heard from her again. That was about 2 month ago. If you want an agent who will actually do something go with an independent agent. State Farm treats its insureds very unfairly. I do not recommend State Farm. The Dept of Insurance has a complaint process for complaints about insurance companies or agents.
