LIABILITY for my 2010 car is $280 because THEY changed my garaging address to an old address I had 2 years ago in Phoenix. I had no idea until they called me before my next payment. Yes, on my end i forgot to update my address but I had moved again. I hadn’t had the chance to update anything. I was paying approx $90 a month. I do not recommend Commonwealth. But Giselle Ruiz from AALL insurance was super helpful and did everything she could to help me. I ended up paying the $280. But i will not be renewing with Common wealth. Please look for a different insurance that’s more economical for you (especially in this economy) and will be understanding with your circumstances.

By far the worst experience dealing with this insurance company. I was involved in an accident where it wasn’t my fault but the other insurance went with what the other person told them. I used my coverage in order to avoid the whole word vs word scenario and expected commonwealth to fix my car back to new. My shop presented a supplement in which they detailed the replacement of my fender(due to it being kinked and rolled)and headlights (due to the housing having chipped plastic and deep gouged scratches), however commonwealth “senior” appraiser Richard Gomez , denied all evidence provided by my shop and was so experience in telling my shop to put a large amount of bondo filer on my fender and buff out the headlight. I have been driving for almost 50 years! I know something about insurance companies. In general, they are almost all the same. You get what you pay for but not here. This is by far the worst place to insure your car! It is nearly impossible to get in touch with them. A 3 hour wait on the phone is standard. They also love hanging up on you for no reason at all. It is more likely to get a call back from the White House than from Commonwealth Casualty Insurance! If you're in an emergency, this is not the company you want to be insured with unless you love being frustrated and add another dimension of trouble to your life! I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

New review: Claim No: CAZ-0068262 I’m leaving this review after an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience with Commonwealth Casualty regarding my not-at-fault claim (CAZ-0068262). It has now been well over a month since the accident, and despite repeated communication attempts, Commonwealth has refused to authorize the full repair supplement verified by the licensed collision repair facility. The shop identified a $2,628.83 discrepancy between their estimate and Commonwealth’s approved amount, leaving my vehicle disassembled and undrivable while the insurer fails to respond with clarification or action. These guys are the WORST insurance company I have ever worked with. They take forever, they settle low, the rental car situation is a nightmare, they don’t take calls, they shouldn’t be in business. If you get hit by someone with that uses them, GOOD LUCK and I’m sorry!!!
