This is the worst home insurance company I’ve ever dealt with. They don’t cover anything! Unless your roof is completely blown off by a hurricane, don’t expect them to pay a single cent. My claim for missing shingles and water damage and a hole from heavy storms was denied with no real explanation. I’ve been paying them for years, and it feels like I’ve just been throwing my money away. All they do is get richer while their customers get nothing. I’m canceling this lousy “insurance” and warning others to stay away! It unfortunate that families have to go through this.

Terrible insurance company! So not use this company. They are fraudulently collecting money from consumers. In the event that your home should qualify for obvious repairs the company will drop you. I’ll recommend AIG or Progressive. Do. Not. Use this company

Equipment breakdown policy is worth every dime. The claim rep was fast, efficient and friendly. Our ac compressor failed at 11am, the next day our hvac rep with CL with the approval. Total time from breakage to reimbursement was less than a week. If you get your homeowners through Columbia, get the breakdown warranty. You won’t regret it. I am a loyal Columbia lloyds policy holder and will be for as long as I own a home.

We've been with Columbia Lloyds for 46 years and their policies have declined dramatically over the years and we're done. We filed two claims and with one we only received one third of what it would cost to repair the damage and the other we didn't get anything.

Great customer service and claims handling. We had two claims filed within 90 days in the summer and fall of 2020. On both occasions the company sent the adjusters out within 24 hours and had our property claim handled quickly. I wish other insurance companies can use these guys as roll model and perform as well!!
