Colorado Farm Bureau Insurance

Zero stars from me. My premium went up significantly on my homeowner's insurance policy, and I tried to call my agent in Colorado Springs to assist me in reducing my premium. Nobody answers the office phone. He doesn't answer his cell phone. He doesn't respond to text messages. He answered my email one time, told me he would review my policy when he had time and get back to me. That never happened, and he wouldn't respond to subsequent emails. I have a friend who also has a policy through him, same issue. I found a great policy with another company today, $450 cheaper, with much better coverages, at an agency that answers the phone!!! Imagine that! There are other issues, but I'm just happy to be done with this company. Praise God for helping me find a great policy elsewhere.

Awful! Frank Tado who worked my claim, the worst. Never called back unless I escalated the call. Glad this is not my insurance company! Can't imagine the issues I would have and if I was in an accident, the time and frustrating that I would be going through. So glad State Farm is so much better! They have already repaired my vehicle and now will pursue Farm Bureau for their money. Don't use this company unless you have tons of time to do their job!

I have tried for months to cancel my policy. My agent won’t return my calls or email. They will not let you cancel via voicemail. When I call the policy hotline it just rings forever. I have left multiple voicemails and haven’t gotten any response. These tactics seem illegal and I would recommend opting for a more trusted insurance company. Should’ve read the reviews before I signed up.

Do not use this company. They do not call back, answer voicemails, emails, or even answer the door during normal business hours. I have yet to receive any proof of insurance, months in, and am now in violation of my lease for not being able to provide proof of renters insurance. I was told 3 different monthly payment amounts. Despite saying they would drop my old vehicle, a month later they are still billing me for it. I have never been given access to my online account, and even the corporate office does not call back to fix this. I have filed a complaint with Insurance Commissioners Office, and you should too if you are treated this way. I can't even cancel because I cannot reach anyone.

They never answer the phone. My insurance went up a crazy amount and I called 4 separate times to figure out why this happened. Every time I was transferred to someone who said they would look into it and call me back. Never received a call back, shocker! Most incompetent company ever. I tried to call today to cancel my policy and I was sent to voicemail!
