I work at a DME business in Alabama. I have been trying to get a Fee Schedule from Healthspring all week. I have left messages with 3 "representatives" today. I have called every number I can find on all web pages of Healthspring or pertaining to Healthspring. Everyone I talk to says "we go by Medicare guidelines" My response is "No you do not because you pay 1/2 as much as Medicare." I need a list of DME items and what Healthspring allowable is. You send letters to patients and tell them what you pay us and what their co pay will be. Why not let us know first so they want be jumping on us for charging too much. This is ridiculous. You have got to have a list to go by surely. Please look into this matter for me. I would appreciate it very much.
