RUN! Don't walk...I have zero employees and they are attempting to EXTORT money from me for a so called "Audit" when there is literally nothing to audit. No payroll, no business claims, no assets....this company is a complete SCAM. Do yourself a favor and seek insurance elsewhere from a TRUSTWORTHY company.

Most people select this company because at first they offer you a competitive price for insurance and workers comp. Then the audits come. Audits are understandable and every carrier does this. However, they misclassify workers and you have to send the same information 100 times because they are so disorganized. They requested profit and loss statements from me, which is none of their business, and then they throw out a huge number and swindle the amount downward after you continue to catch all their mistakes. They also audit you twice a year. They are audit happy when it comes to trying to find ways to squeeze every dollar out of you. I switched years ago and I am way better off with my new carrier. They sent me a refund payment a few years ago for overpayment and then last year th

Horrendous. Lack of accountability. Lack of empathy, entire lack of communication, and gaslighting injured patients. I highly suggest Mr. Ford go through more training and/or a full evaluation of his records and if there have been other complaints filed against him. Multiple times he’s completely ignored my multiple forms of communication.

This company’s audits are a nightmare. They consistently misclassify employees and subcontractors, creating unnecessary disputes and delays. They demand profit and loss statements that are NOT required, wasting valuable time and resources.

Chesapeake Insurance has a knowledgable, helpful staff that are happy to explain things to you. Call them and ask them to explain your policy before something happens. Often we only call when there is a problem and we think they should have covered the issue! The real issue is that we don't know what our policies actually cover, we just assume and when it doesn't go our way we get mad and take it out on the insurance company. Be proactive and call your companies audit team so you can be educated on what your policy actually covers. The agents that sell the insurance have a good understanding of policy but not nearly as much as your companies audit team. I would like to thank Mrs. Newlon for educating me in a way that I could understand it. GET EDUCATED
