Charles L. Alter: Allstate Insurance

Insurance increases should come with an explanation. After many years of being an Allstate customer I think that there should be more personalized service. It does not have to be a phone call but an email of a new bill should be accompanied by the reasons why there are increases in the policy cost.

After at least one rate increase yearly with no explanations even though we were and have been ticket and accident free throughout the policy), we cancelled. The Agent NEVER even contacted us to find out why we cancelled! (And I was ready to give them an earful when they did!). Now TWO YEARS later I'm asked to give them a review! Seriously!

If I can give this company zero stars, I would we emailed that we closed on our house tried calling on a number of times the insurance company would not take this from us. They said you need to speak to the broker we tried contacting the broker a number of times via phone and email and they never got back to us and they cost us an extra $1500 that we should’ve gotten back saying that they can only backdate cancellation for 3 months , and they were extremely unwilling to help out in anyway to recoup the lost funds

A great agency to deal with. They really take the time to listen to your concerns, they give wonderful advice and the rates are not bad at all. It's a very personable place. I'm ever so happy I signed up with them.
