I had a heart transplant and was on Federal disability and they could not have made the process more difficult. I was in the hospital one week out of transplant surgery trying to email my bank to get them involved which I had to do multiple times. They only paid a fraction of what they should have. Worst insurance company I ever worked with. The only reason they get one star is because it would let me post without it.

I found this company willing to help me, I would say they went well out of their way to help me, I am currently having an issue with my finance company and the balance they applied to my account which was a policy refund from this company. This company made absolutely no money off the policy I had purchased through my dealer, and two of their representatives that worked on my policy spent their time and effort to provide the best possible documentation to provide to my finance company. To sum this up, This company refunded my policy Made no money off my policy Continue amazing customer service knowing they Made no profit to fix mistakes made by other companies, and helped me deal with accounting mistakes made from my dealership and finance company.

I had spine surgery and was unable to work for six months. Central States Health and life took care of my pickup payments the whole time I was off work. Very good people to work with. I am very glad I purchased the policy! I would recommend them to anyone purchasing a new vehicle you have to finance, you may never have to use it. But it's there if you should unexpectedly need it.

When you buy a car they offer great insurance. You think, wow this would be great if I was out of work. Sign your name and pay. It’s that easy. When you actually need the help they make you jump threw hoops! My mom is on FMLA and not one payment has been paid. She’s sent so much paperwork while being disabled it’s ridiculous and all the money spent on faxing documents. In my opinion it’s not worth the hassle and a waste of money.

When I purchased my 2015 VW Passat I bought the disability insurance from Central States. Am I ever glad I did. In the following years I have submitted claims on two different occasions. Health issues. Anytime I called the office, I talked to one person, then I was conected to the person that could help me. All of my vehicle payments were made on time. I would suggest having the payments made directly to the bank you deal with if you make your payment in person. Even when I went back to work before a full payment would be paid. Central States pro rated it, and a partial payment was processed. I would suggest this company to anyone given the option during the vehicle purchase prossess.
