Care plus only cares about money and not the health of the elderly. They deny everything they can and they don’t care. My 91 year old dad had head and neck surgery for a broken neck with 3 neck fusions and the back of his skull was fused to his neck. A very rare surgery. Care plus denied him in hospital rehab first because he was to weak. Then after his daughter came and got him walking care plus denied him rehab in skilled nursing because he could walk. My dad spent 23 days in the hospital with no professional rehab. He was just sent home and hopefully care plus will keep to their word and send PT and OT to the house. A Very frustrating experience with care plus.

Careplus HMO is horrible!! If you need to go to a rehab for physical therapy, you will regret having this plan because the only facilities I could find that accept this plan are not suitable for a human being. This plan is fine until you need to use your insurance. I suggest you change out of Careplus.

I just got Care Plus this year 2026 and so far they are horrible they don't communicate well and when you call about a problem they can't answer your questions and some of them you can't understand them on the phone cuz they're English is really bad so I will probably be looking for a new insurance company plastic contract out with integrated for your health supplies and they are the worst company ever so I wouldn't get Care Plus or or any of it

I am in disbelief at how a physician Dr.. Henry Merritt of CarePlus handled my 89-year-old mother. He performed minor surgery on her toe without numbing the toe and told her to moan if she needed to because it was going to hurt. I spoke with him on her follow-up visit, and he said to hurry up and ask my question because he is losing money by taking care of her. He further stated that if I wanted to help her, I would help her get better insurance because CarePlus does not pay for many things, not even some injections. He further recommended whom he thinks she should change for insurance. I had to ask him to give her pain medication because a week later, she is still in pain. I have no words for this service. I live out of state which is very fortunate for this doctor.

Was on hold for over 45 minutes only for someone to pick up, say they could not hear me and hang up the phone before I could say anything.
