Bobby Reneau: Allstate Insurance

When inquiring about a possible perk in regard to my current policy, I was sent particulars on another policy. Not helpful.

I have been a customer less than a year but recently had to file a claim. An uninsured driver hit me from behind while I was stopped at a red light. Allstate contacted me and helped me thru the process timely and completely. The personnel I dealt with were courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable, true professionals!

Why is it that my experience hasn't been great like others? There are staffers that try to help but this agent has never spoken to me in some 10 years or more of being his customer, UNTIL...we moved and were taking our policy to another agent. Then, Bobby himself contacted us and was not very pleasant. The agency fumbled a request to remove a car from our policy. I had to jump through hoops to show that we no longer owned the home that we had insured with him. During this transition, his conversation with my wife was right from the 1950's--condescending and chauvinistic. We spent tens of thousands of dollars with him and that's the kind of treatment we get. Cannot recommend.

I had been with Randy George from Allstate for about 20 years. I always had great service. He sold his agency to Bobby Reneau. Since then, I have little good to say about their customer service. I recently requested a quote on two landlord properties. They said they would require a drive by. I said OK. I didn't hear anything from them until a couple of letters came in the mail over a month later saying my policies were canceled due to property condition. And then they sent me a bill. What? I figured it was a mistake so I called them. I had not asked them to activate any policy. If you aren't going to cover me, don't bill me - right? - nope! They refused to take back the charges and sent my bills for collections. I could easily pay it, but the point is I should not have to because of their

I recently canceled my auto home and renters insurance after seven years. Their rates go up every six months. Good luck if you try to make a claim because they will try to avoid paying out any possible way they can. Please do your research before you sign up with them. Update. I have been trying to cancel my home and renters insurance for over a month.I have called emailed Eric Garcia , Jehesemir and they will not respond.They are the worst customer service
