Beneficial Life Insurance Company

Dealing with beneficial life has been one very large migraine headache on an ongoing basis. My dad outlived his life insurance policy with beneficial and they have no mechanisms in place to help somebody like this. It totally frustrates the purpose of a life insurance policy making it a taxable event for the insured and his family - it's costing us thousands and thousands of dollars. The whole process has been one roadblock after another and failed timely interaction and instruction. If you're considering a policy through beneficial life, I have recommendations for companies that I think are better.

My husband died and had life insurance plus a couple of IRAs . About 2 years ago. Beneficial Life acted very quickly to get the life insurance money back to me. I could not have been more pleased with the service. And when I was considering taking some money out of an IRA, the agent asked if I was sure I wanted to since the interest rate was guaranteed at about 2.4 percent and had not and would not change. They told me current rates were at less than .02 percent which was true. So I kept it there. I was glad they explained it to me so I would understand. Always pleasant people to work with anytime I have had questions and quick response when I said I needed to change my beneficiaries. I couldn’t ask for better

If you are planning to buy life insurance don't buy it from these people. They don't like paying your beneficiaries. I have jumped through there hoops time and time again. All I get is more hoops to jump through. I have sent them all the information they want on these latest forms. In short they suck. Think of your family and buy from someone else.
