On December 12th, an Auto-Owners insured rear-ended me while we were at a complete stop. The impact was so severe that it pushed my vehicle into the car in front of me, which then struck the vehicle ahead of them — resulting in a four-car chain reaction collision. After being discharged from a four day hospitalization, I contacted Auto-Owners to complete an appraisal. My vehicle was deemed a total loss. The initial compensation offer was $4,136, which I believed did not reflect the true value of my vehicle. I was told I could hire my own appraiser, so I did.
