Auto-Owners Insurance Dayton Claims

I’m a contractor that has helped many customers with their Homeowners claims in the Cincinnati and Dayton area and Auto Owners is by far the worst to work with. They’re unorganized and unethically deny claims despite overwhelming evidence in support of coverage. They have hired conflicts of interest in situations when inspectors are meant to be unbiased. They will ignore emails and multiple follow ups for months on end. There is no urgency or even an ounce of desire to indemnify their customers as their policies contractually require. I would not recommend Auto Owners for homeowners insurance even if it were free. Happy to give more detail of the situations to management for future improvement. Just let me know

My adjuster, Cindy Thomas was very helpful, friendly and a delight to work with. The entire situation was handled efficiently, professionally and on a timely basis. I would definitely recommend Auto-Owners Insurance.

My claims rep I was assigned was very rude. I was trying to claim from one of their clients hitting me. It was a hassle the whole way through. I would not recommend this company if you ever want to file a claim. Follow up - never could get an answer after calls to rep. Never did get a rental car. Unbelievable.
