Assurity Life Insurance Company

Poor customer service from the very start. Thought it was just my rep at first but seems to be company wide. I thought they had great prices and wanted to take them to my new job and that’s where it really went downhill. I had to reach out 5 times in the span of 3 months trying to get any sort of update and all I was told was “soon” — no next steps, no follow through

Don't do business with this company. They are unorganized. If you have to change anything on your policy, they will tell you it's done, but NOT REALLY DONE! YOU may be leaving your benefits to an X-WIFE instead of your present wife or children!!! Don't TRUST Assurity insurance!!! They are incompetent!!!!

Good idea however they wouldn't give me life insurance. But they were happy to give me accidental life insurance which on my post policy it said I can't cave dive all kinds of stuff you know hiking stuff like that if I would have died in those type of situations they would not provide and take care of means I basically can't do anything with my kids like to rock climb and all kinds of stuff however it was posted that they wouldn't cover me and my kids if I died in those type of situations including suicide.!?!?

After months of badgering interviews, (I felt like I was being interviewed by the FBI and they were extremely rude) I was denied life insurance for a history of depression that has been long resolved. Even though they are insurance company I expected just a little civility and customer service. I was wrong. If you've ever taken a mild antidepressant or have EVER had any treatable medical condition, don't bother applying. This company is a joke. I got accepted for life insurance in just a couple weeks with a much better company.
