Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield

I have seen some of the worst doctors under this plan I canceled it today I have filed grievances and they have withdrawn them when I tried to cancel they hung up on me the plan not worth it if you see unprofessional doctors

This isn’t a rating for the company, I’d like to recognize an employee of yours that went above and beyond for me. I won’t go into great detail but after many calls and many hours on the phone I came across a lady named Octavia Anderson. I was having a hard time figuring out an issue with my coverage and she reassured me she would help despite the fact that I was showing no coverage. She made sure everything was taken care of, showed genuine empathy. I was so happy to have finally reached someone like her and the issues ended up resolved. Please give her a raise. People like her make all the difference In the world! Thank you Octavia!

My experience with this insurance company was and still is until time to switch is trash!!!! I have been trying to get a call back from their nurse for 3 weeks each time I've called ALL the nurses is in meetings. The line I have gotten is "We do apologize someone will reach out to you in 24 hours. No one has called yet!!!! Sad, sad, sad.😡

This is the absolute worst insurance I have ever had in 52 years! They do not want to pay any claims, have denied me the ability to use prescriptions I have used for years, claiming their doctors don't think I need them...one is for BLOOD CLOTS! I have a history of blood clots and they won't allow me to have a 14 day supply for after surgery when it is critical. They could not possibly care less about their customers. RUN from this company! do not use them if you have any other options!

I have personally had the worst experience with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield compared to any other insurance company I've EVER had and I'm 57 yrs old! I suffer from a debilitating disorder and over the last yr Anthem's has dropped 2 critical medications from their formulary list. In addition, they also dropped several other meds that I relied on for other conditions. Don't even waste your time calling customer service. I spent almost 2 hrs on one phone and spoke with at least 4 different people on that call with NO results. Same for all my calls. Bottom line is they are NOT interested in patient care but only their bottom dollar.
