Requested paperless contact, they allegedly mailed an audit request that we did not receive and followed up by having Paychex mail us a non-cooperative audit fee of more than double our premium. No phone call, no email, just a huge fine without attempting to contact us via our requested contact methods. After several hours on the phone with both Paychex and Amtrust, both parties pointed the finger at each other and said that there was nothing they could do until the audit was complete in 1-2 months but that the money would be owed unless/until the audit was complete, despite both of them confirming that all requested documents had been received. American corporate hell is thriving.
