You need to read American National’s negative reviews first. They are 100% true! They mailed out my insurance refund check…. BUT NOT TO ME. They gave me the run around for 6 months now. Still an unsolved mystery for Carol Amyot the Senior Client Service Associate. After speaking to her today she said she will look into it (after 6 months of waiting) and then emailed me the number to billing. ZERO stars for ZERO customer service. Just cancelled my policy today and took my business elsewhere. Got a cheaper rate too! I suggest you do the same.

I had a wonderful experience with this insurance company! I spoke to the 1(800) number as it is a Saturday and I work at a dealership. I deal with many insurance companies and the two representatives that I spoke to were Phenomenal! Thank you so much Lacey (funny enough we share the same name) and Liz Gallegos!!! They got me over everything I needed very quick and easy. I recommend for sure 100%!

They don't call back if you can even get through on a phone call. They increase rates automatically every year without any agent ever contacting you.I saved 50% shopping around. It used to be a good company until it was sold to a big corporation.I have never made a claim in 50 years , have paid every premium on time, yet receive no service and constant huge increases. My advice- shop around for better coverage and less money.

My husband and I recently decided to enjoy an outdoor meal at the American National pavilion and picnic table area. We had just picked up dinner from Five Guys and thought it would be nice to eat outside, especially given the lovely weather over the Memorial Day holiday. Upon arrival, we noticed that there were no signs indicating trespassing or restrictions on unauthorized visitors. The only signage present was about not allowing pets on the patio, which we fully complied with. Considering it was a holiday and the offices were closed, we assumed it would be fine to use the space. However, shortly after we began our meal, a security officer approached us and asked us to leave, stating that the area was for employees only.
