BEWARE!!! Received a card in the mail from AMBA. "IMPORTANT: PROJECTED MEDICARE CHANGES" Lots of fine print. Bottom line: give them my age, spouse age, phone and email....so they can spam me. If you want to learn of the changes go to Medicare.gov - not these crooks.

BEWARE - This company is complete scam. They broker our your coverage and when you have an issue (which you will) the coverage provider will say "we can't help call Amba" and Amba will say "we can't help call provider." I recently called the provider ahead of my scheduled Dr. Appt and was told it would be covered, only to receive a large bill from Dr. I called Amba and they said "well sorry but there is nothing we can do." Will be cancelling immediately

They said that my insurance would begin on the 1st went to get glasses and they don't have me even in their system. I've seen that this has been an issue in the past even waiting a whole month before they allow their insurance to begin after you've already paid for the insurance by the first of the month. Nasty way to treat your retired teachers. So many scams in the world so little time.

We cancelled this policy for my father about three years ago. He passed away January 31 and this week I see a charge from them being taken out of his checking account. I looked and they have been doing this all along. We have been paying out of pocket all of this time. They said we never cancelled and won't reimburse payments, even the ones that have happened since he passed away. I asked about them paying for the dental expenses we have had during the time we had cancelled, but they had been charging anyway and they said no. The only way for us to get even the two payments since he passed away is to go through Probate court and send them a copy, that will cost us $200 and we have no one else that has required that. I have been paying on this insurance for some time now, however, I have never used it. I've paid a LOT of money to them; I get no communication from them but they continue to debt my checking account.Now, my dental and vision carriers want to know the policy numbers...I have tried the customer service number but it impossible to get anyone on the telephone! I am starting to feel the company is a sham--- FRAUD and thinking about starting a Class Action Suit against them. I intend to contact an attorney.
