Allstate: John Butler

I would give zero stars if I could. This person should lose their license and be prosecuted for fraud and theft. John Butler engaged in premium diversion on a policy my mother paid for in full. She bought a homeowner’s insurance policy through agent John Butler, who even came out to the property to take pictures of it, but instead of fulfilling his fiduciary duty by paying the insuring company for said policy with the money provided by my mom, as agents are supposed to do, he stole the money for himself. My mom was not notified for a year that the insurance company had dropped the homeowners policy and consequently was put in a high risk insurance pool costing her thousands more. If I could give a worse review I would. A year ago this man had me sign an Application per my many coverage needs. With that said, he promised and lied about it being an admitted policy, and it came in at almost ten times the price of Bird insurance. I called insurance provider and told them I was not pursuing after John's angry text and calls, and they were fine. John called me angry and yelling like an spoiled child when I told him I went with Bird Insurance as they met my needs and kept promises plus came in at $640 as opposed to his almost $6000 policy. They provided me with an admitted policy and didn't lie. Now, one year later he's trying to sue me!!! He's a terrible, angry, lying little child. Stay far away from his shady business.

I’ve known John Butler for a while now and he always delivers excellent customer service and the best pricing on all our insurance. Once you tell John what you’re looking for, he finds you the best pricing and never disappoints. I would highly recommend Butler Insurance group to all my friends and family and will continue to work with John long in future!

It’s been 9 months sense I bought my house John claimed he bound the insurance to my house somehow before I even closed. I had to hire a separate company because he never responded in a timely fashion. I paid out just under $1,700 on 1 year and told him I’d be fair and run the insurance 3 months so he didn’t lose out completely. And 8 months later I still can’t get a refund for the remainder. I’m a business owner and Hate to put negative reviews but at this point I’m done with being nice.
