Good bunch of people just wish could do more changing things online with erie insurrance but that is not the shaffer groups doing. Definitely 4 star place

After an increase of over 20% in homeowners insurance i inquired about the jump in price and how to lower it.....i got little help and was encouraged to shop around to see that their prices were "competitive". I'm glad I did....between 3 policies we saved 800.00 a year. The folks here wouldn't even turn on their computer to see if we could save a few bucks in an economically troubling time. I got bare minimum effort from Shaffer Insurance. 1/10, do not recommend.

We have been with Erie for over 40 years. My parents were as well before me. Always have been treated the best and you can't beat their Auto Insurance rates.

I've had in Erie insurance for the last 10 years through this office. Every time I've needed to call they were always polite and answered my questions quickly. The few times that I had to make a claim they were able to get things done quickly and relatively easy.

Having had Erie Insurance since my first car, I was quite disappointed with the service. Now retired and recently lost my sister, I had to secure auto insurance for myself. At the reception desk I was told they could not insure me under Erie since I had no record. I was put into Progressive. The entire time the person was writing the application, I was standing. I was not invited to sit at any time. Once my "Declaration" page is received, I will be shopping for other insurance. The policy that was written for me is extremely high. Keep in mind I am retired, drive only occasionally and have never had an accident. I would NOT recommend Erie and certainly not this office in Shamokin Dam.
