Allan Insurance: Sampson Lara

I prefer writing only positive reviews. In this case I will make an exception. They definitely deserve their perfect, 1 star rating. I have been with them through different owners overs several decades. I recently shopped 3 companies to switch to. I have received all the new quotes from these 3 companies. These guys have yet to respond. It`s been 3 weeks and I`ve called 3 times. The absolute poorest service possible.

All I can say is this company sucks! I had Allen insurance for years before it was bought by out. There are basically three people who supposedly run this company...Tom the new owner, his son Hayden and John who is supposedly supposed to take over the company someday. They are extremely hard to get a hold of when you try to call. Many times I've tried, they were out golfing. I wanted to cancel my coverage due to the sale of my house. I sold my house in May but my coverage was good through mid June. I called them about a month before I sold my house to cancel...I finally got in touch with Hayden because John was supposedly gone on vacation. I submitted my signed cancellation but Hayden never turned it in. I got a notification from Citizens that my policy was in default. I called them and to

Don't bother, they won't ever call you back and they change the policy details after you leave a message... It's fraudulent to take money and be unavailable to provide service and to change a policy right after someone talked to you. A complete waste of money.

Terrible terrible customer service. Over a month and still can't get help on my policy that renews soon. Agent was emailed several times and sent text and still no reply and even answered phone once. Called another company and said they get about five calls a week from Allen Insurance customers with same problem. Save your aggravation and use someone else. New company got back with information right away.
