I have had short term disability and accident insurance through aflac for about 5 years now since 2019. I thank god have only made 2 claims both just about the same time and situation (due to the nature of my job). How is it that the first time I do it they paid what was advertised (what i signed up for). Almost 3 years later they want to pay out a couple hundred less then last time. And the 1200 a month policy is not that its far less. So if you do sign up ask ever question possible and get the break down in writing. Im going elsewhere.

Evidently cardiac myopathy and massive heart failure is not a critical illness even with only 20% cardiac output. They denied our claim when my husband was in the hospital for 8 days and off work for over a month and half. Don't rely on them to help you.

Unethical company! They hire anybody to become an independent agent. You will earn money off commission only, pay for the computer learning program and state licensing fees. It’s close to being a pyramid scam as Alfac encourages you to sell their product to friends and family. Beware because a lot of these good reviews are the same people from Aflac that are trying to make themselves look good.

The phone keeps getting picked up and immediately disconnected. Is something wrong with the phone? I am trying to inquire about employment. Thanks. Update: The phone is disconnected 3:48 PM, 1/17/2023 at the Wall St location.
