I started working on a commercial policy in May, needing only a liability policy. I never received a copy of the policy. Months later I was informed it was written wrong, cancellation and a new policy was to be sent. Communication lacks, understanding ones needs, 1000 questions and countless hours spent working on a simple policy. Won't be renewing with them.

Terrible customer service! My policies were moved to this company from Mahar insurance in Dowagiac and what a terrible transfer! The receptionist Shawn is the most unpleasant person have spoken to in quite sometime. Attempting to cancel all policies with this miserable agency!

The agent Mr Johnson called me last week about Humana's new 20.00 a month Medicare supplement ins. For my mom. I have power of attorney to make decisions for her and she currently has a 74.00 plan with Humana. We had an appt today and he very throughly explained the options of both plans. Since the coverage was so close it was worth the time to understand the options. I want an agent that is local with an office in the town I live in, who is willing to keep his clients updated. He was very professional and not only helped with her plan but I decided the plan would work for me

This company had great customer service up front; prior to me accepting quote and paying. However after I purchased, I discovered they had misrepresented a bundled quote to get me to sign. It also took several emails to get a response after purchase. During quote process, agent emailed back within minutes. It's all about the follow-up and long term service for me, oh, and honesty and I find them lacking in both.

I've had my home, vehicles, and business insured through Kemner-Iott for about five years. They've been incredibly helpful. My agents respond to emails or calls promptly and take all the stress and guesswork out of insurance... even in the event of a fender bender (oops!) Good insurance isn't cheap anywhere in Michigan, but going with a reputable company can be a lifesaver in the end. Thanks, Kemner-Iott!
