Acquanette Chatman: Allstate Insurance

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with an Insurance agent. She was very easy to reach when she was selling the policy, but couldn’t reach her when I wanted to cancel my policy due to poor service. She never responded to my written request to cancel my policy. Per Allstate policy, the agent should approve a request for cancellation within 3 days. After numerous phone calls, she never returned my calls. At times she was in the office, (always in a meeting), and would not take the call. After a month I reached out the to Georgia Insurance Commissioner’s office that contacted her immediately. My check was in the mail within 3days. She lied and said that she’d just received a phone call from me a week ago about canceling the policy. I recommend that if that you are having problems

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE..... This company preys on the elderly. My father had no vehicle and they were still charging him auto insurance. We asked on 5 different occasions to have the policy canceled effective immediately. They said their systems were down. We called back the next day and requested the cancellation. They advised the could not remove the registration (never asked them to do so) To this day my father's insurance policy has not been cancelled and he does not even own a registered vehicle. DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY!!!!

I wanted to cancel my auto policy and they simply did not want to help me. I was told that i would receive a phone call, the first day I called to cancel. No one ever called. So, I emailed Ms. Chapman twice and never got a response. I called again…..I was told the same thing. Still no one ever called. I had to call the 1 800 number in order to get my policy canceled. Stay away from this agency.

Just take a look at all the 1-star reviews this agency has received over the years from past clients, it’s no coincidence. It speaks volumes about how poorly this so-called agency operates. Stay away from them at all costs. They have absolutely no regard for their customers. They don’t answer phone calls, they don’t respond to emails, and when it’s time to review your policy or if you’re dealing with an accident or emergency, you’re completely on your own. They simply do not care. What makes it even more upsetting is that I never chose them in the first place. My policy was automatically transferred to this agency after my long-time agent, who provided outstanding service for over 20 years, retired and sold her business. My time with Allstate has proven that customers do not matted to them. Especially the office of Acquanette Chatman. They are happy to take your money but if you need help or to communicate with them, you will not find it here. On July 26th I emailed Acquanette Chatman at the email provided via the Allstate app to update the information on the roof on my house and request a premium review since I replaced my roof out of pocket. I had to follow up again nearly a week later due to no response. On August 1st I got the one and only communication from Ms. Chatman simply stating "I don't see the attached file". If she had looked at the previous email in the email chain she would have found it as I verified it was indeed attached. Regardless I attached it again on the same day and sent it off.
